Man, oh man, words don’t even begin to describe how excited I am about this session. The second I met Joe and Emily I imagined a session just like this one. These two were such troopers running and sitting in the long grasses of the Philadelphia Folk festival property where they both spend their summers working with the Philadelphia folksong society.
One of the most common things I hear is a portrait photographer is “we are so awkward in photos” Let me let you in on a little secret no, you’re not. Just be yourselves act like you are on your first date again and just love on one another…you may feel a bit awkward but I promise you the less you try the better. Play, sway, dance, laugh move, snuggle and just be yourselves. Think of me as the third wheel, we are just three friends hanging out having a good time.
I met this wonderful couple a couple days ago and we had the best time.
This past weekend I had the absolute privilege of photographing longtime family friends at their intimate wedding. Ray, Ali, my wonderful second shooter and I had such a blast roaming around the fields and making each other laugh. The wedding was perfect. Ali's dress was gorgeous and they said their vows overlooking the scenic Holland Township.
